According to Page Six…

A Malibu beach mansion has sold for $120 million — a Los Angeles County record.

The buyer is said to be Canadian billionaire Daryl Katz, who owns the Edmonton Oilers.

The home was designed by architectural designer Scott Mitchell, whose clients include Larry Ellison and Jeffrey Katzenberg.

Owner Kurt Rappaport, co-founder, and CEO of Beverly Hills-based Westside Estate Agency sold his home in an off-market deal, and the sale, which closed on Friday, even includes the home’s contents.

Rappaport even brokered the previous Los Angeles area real estate record — the sale of David Geffen’s Malibu compound for $85 million last May.

Rappaport had bought the Malibu land for $6.8 million in 2006, but it wasn’t until 2012 that his 15,000-square-foot dream home was completed. The pad comes with a 168-foot-long infinity pool, the longest residential pool in California, according to Architectural Digest.

The home sits on six acres on an ocean bluff. It comes with seven bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a screening room and a gym.
