Westside DIGS’ First Year
Our Architect | Design | Build issue marks the culmination of DIGS’ first year serving LA’s Westside cities and neighborhoods. It’s been an exciting year of building relationships with real estate professionals, the local community, and, of course, the readers who have embraced and supported us. As a Westside resident for more than 18 years, I know and love the vibrant and ever-changing nature of this part of Los Angeles.
From beach to canyon to urban streets, the Westside offers a vast array of settings to live in, and the ability to travel seamlessly between mountain, beach, and city on a daily basis. The Westside is also home to the finest retailers and restaurants nationwide, is one of the fastest-growing tech enclaves outside of the Silicon Valley, and offers world-class schools and cultural institutions. It’s an exciting time to be a part of this beautiful and diverse community.
Take a look inside
In this special year-end edition of DIGS, we have twice the amount of editorial coverage and an incredible line-up. Gracing our cover is the stunning Caverhill Residence, designed by Studio Pali Fekete architects and currently listed for sale by Crosby Doe Associates. To learn more about this sleek and modern architectural gem, turn to page 34.
DIGS also profiles architect Dion Neutra, who even today continues his father’s iconic design style, and works diligently to preserve the modernist’s legacy. Turn to page 55 to learn more.
Sneak a peek inside some of the busiest interior design firms in LA with our look at Krista Schrock and David John Dick of DISC interiors, along with Tamara Kaye-Honey of House of Honey and Birgit Klein of Birgit Klein Interiors. Glimpse our favorite picks for holiday sparkle and shine with contemporary glassware, glimmering chandeliers, and tabletop ornaments. Finally, get Kalon Studio’s take on modern, sustainable furniture.
Thank you
Westside DIGS would like to sincerely THANK all of our advertisers and readers for their much-valued feedback over the past year. Our passion to connect the local real estate community continues to grow and we look forward to expanding our Westside distribution in the coming year. We’re deeply honored and blessed to serve the Westside, and we’re committed to keep innovating and adding value to our publication and our partnerships. In 2016 look for continued coverage of the best the Westside has to offer within the pages of DIGS.
Happy Holidays and may all of your real estate dreams come true in 2016.
