ON THE COVER Richard Neutra’s Kaufmann House enduring vision under the sunny skies of Palm Springs offered by Gerard Bisignano of Vista Sotheby’s International Realty. In this edition of Westside DIGS Magazine discover Los Angeles luxury homes and celebrity homes for sale and top agents that represent them.
Our annual year-end Architect | Design | Build edition is a special occasion for DIGS, our marketing partners, our readers and the local communities we serve – it’s a time when we celebrate architecture and design from the past, present, and future and pay homage to the spaces we shape and form into what we call home.
Architect Richard Neutra was known for his laser-like focus on the wants of his clients, and faithfully integrating them into his designs. Kaufmann House in Palm Springs was no different.
David Studds’ meticulous reshaping of the home and yard has yielded a sunlit, user-friendly dwelling that lives much grander than its approximately 2,400 square feet offered by Sharon Umansky Benton of the Agency.
While this house was built in 2007, its architecture and interior design clearly references Californian Modernism. It’s one of the reasons why Ron Radziner loves it so much.
