Downtown Los Angeles’ Iconic Union Station Transforms Into a Mecca for Art and Entertainment

The historical venue in Downtown Los Angeles, Union Station—an architectural gem featuring soaring vaulted ceilings, towering brass windows, and massive Art Deco chandeliers—will open up its lush outdoor gardens nightly for its Summer Entertainment Series.

Kicking off the programming is Live Nation’s Ones to Watch and KROQ Locals Only Presents Summer Concerts at Union Station.

Sit under the stars as the warm California breeze wafts soulful sounds from emerging local artists through the air, giving music fans of all walks intimate access to the next generation of musicians.

Then, behold as Union Station transforms into a towering canvas for dazzling imagery of Los Angeles‘ storied past and vibrant present, as visitors step into the streets of Downtown while moving freely throughout the garden beneath its translucent Floating Sky Screen.

For art enthusiasts, Union Station’s next series—the provocative art installation Cabinet of Curiosities—will feature a group of trailblazing Los Angeles-based artists showcasing a series of mysterious worlds through peepholes.

Built as a portal to the promise of the California dream, Union Station has become an iconic gateway to the rebirth of LA’s vibrant cultural scene—a venue that is surely here to stay.
