As of August 21, 2018, a total of 971 single-family homes have sold in the Beach Cities and Palos Verdes Peninsula with an aggregate value of $1.966 billion.  Currently, the average sale price for the entire South Bay/PV is $2,025,283, while the highest-priced sales this year is $22,650,000.  Buyers through August 21 are getting an average discount of 1.72% off the list price, which is approximately $35,428 per sale.

During the same period last year, a total of 1,019 single-family homes were sold with an aggregate value of $2,025,048,674 at an average sale price of $1,987,290 and a sales discount of 1.42%.
