Baja Abodes at La Montaña at Villas Del Mar

A duo of mountaintop lots awaiting custom Cabo dream homes is now available in the exclusive enclave of La Montaña at Villas Del Mar, the gated community adjacent to Mexico’s luxe one and only Palmilla resort.

“It isn’t often an opportunity like this comes available,” says Janet Jensen, who represents both home sites with Jessica Moreira and Lew Gallo, all of The Agency Los Cabos.

“Both properties are positioned for absolute privacy and to capture some of the finest, far-reaching views on the Southern Baja Peninsula.”

On the market for $8.2 million, home site three is an almost 34,000-square-foot estate with 150 feet of ocean-view frontage that can accommodate a 12,000-square-foot villa, while home site four is $10 million and has been approved for a 14,000-square-foot, six-bedroom residence on an approximately 40,000-square-foot lot with 150 feet of ocean-view frontage.

Each site features an infinity-edge pool, expansive terraces, spacious bedroom suites, chef’s kitchens, a private motor court and staff quarters. Homeowners also can enjoy the amenities of the nearby Villas Del Mar and Palmilla communities.

Island Idyll at The Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort

The Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort debuted in the beachfront town of Kapa’a this past October following a million-dollar transformation spearheaded by design firm Gensler. Formerly a Courtyard by Marriott, the newly refurbished property brings to the east side of Kauai 314 redesigned guest rooms with rich cinnamon woodwork and private lanais.

Other updates include a new arrival experience, oceanfront bar, and restaurants (including the Crooked Surf Tiki bar, Moamoa Hawaiian Fish House, and Daybreak breakfast-buffet restaurant); reinvented public spaces; a revamped pool area (with a new zero-edge pool); and updated programming.

Think twice-weekly luaus celebrating Hawaiian and Polynesian culture, day trips to Waimea Canyon State Park and the Nā Pali coastline, and more. The newly transformed resort also offers almost 8,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor meeting space, including four oceanfront rooms.

Rates start at $279 per night.
