The Chartwell Estate in Bel Air is currently listed for $350,000,000 and was the former set of ‘The Beverly Hillbillies’ TV series before becoming the residence of the late billionaire Jerry Perenchio. 

Architect Sumner Spaulding built the mammoth home in the neoclassical, French chateau style in 1933 and it was sold to hotelier Arnold Kirkeby in the 1940s, who rented the home out as the set of the show.

The limestone chateau includes 25,000 square feet of luxury living space, a guest house by architect Wallace Neff, tennis courts, a 75-foot pool and pool house, parking for 40 cars, and sits on a 10-acre lot with impeccably sculpted gardens and grassy lawns.
