Rich Residence

Interior designer and former fashion magazine editor Angela Rich is selling her longtime second-floor corner residence in Hancock Park’s French Normandy-style Faubourg St. Denis building for $1.87 million.

Expect a medley of 15th-century to 17th-century French and Italian design, including ornate details such as triple-crown moldings, 10-foot beamed ceilings and French art deco-style doors featuring large center knobs.

Among the other wow-factor features of the 2,154-square-foot abode are three bedrooms (including a generous master suite with a private foyer, walk-in closet, and marbled and mirrored dual-vanity bath); a gourmet chef’s kitchen; large living room; and formal dining room.

But that’s not all. Residents of the château-style, pre-war landmark building—designed by James M. Conway in 1927—also are privy to treetop side-street views reminiscent of Manhattan’s Upper East Side, as well as access to amenities including a pool, spa and terrace, and gated underground parking.

The property is listed by Shaun Alan-Lee, Rick Ojeda and Nick Segal of Segal & Ojeda team at Partners Trust.
