Day 4 | In this Episode, Dan O’Connor and their new home has just begun demolition. They’ve torn out just about everything including the drywall, floors, roof and just about everything else. They uncovered: several extra layers of roofing material, fairly extensive termite damage and other critter infestations, as well as the original plans being wrong, forcing Dan and his family to adjust their plans. Dan O’Connor of O’Connor Property with Shorewood Realtors recently purchased a home in Hermosa Beach for his family.

This fixer seriously needs some love and affection. This series will document his and his family’s progress on their redesign and remodeling of their new home. Dan will run into issues and will offer tips that the average home consumer looking for a fixer and to put a lot of value back into a property might come across. It will also look to show and discuss how Dan broached these problem areas that may help someone else who may be about to venture into similar home improvement waters.
