1375 Beverly Estates Drive

Beverly Hills French-Style Mid-Century  |  7,781 sq. ft.  |  $15.9 Million

The one-time Beverly Hills residence of actress Elizabeth Taylor and her second husband Michael Wilding has hit the market for the first time in 21 years, complete with panoramic ocean and city views. Tucked away behind gates at 1375 Beverly Estates Drive, the six-bedroom home was built in 1953 and has since been updated by architect Budd Holden.

“Privacy and the views are the most show-stopping features by far; I am sure that is what appealed to Liz Taylor,” says Joyce Rey, who is co-listing the property with Arlene Rutenberg, both of Coldwell Banker Global Luxury, for $15.9 million.

It also is a wonderful example of French-style Mid-century architecture.

Expect 7,781 square feet of living space highlighted by an expansive living room with a fireplace and beamed ceiling, as well as a spacious master suite sporting an octagonal coffered ceiling and fireplace. The 2-plus acre grounds feature a pool, spa, and lush gardens.
