I’ve spent my entire life in the South Bay and Santa Monica & the West Side. I was born in Manhattan Beach and went to Grandview Elementary, Manhattan Beach Intermediate School, and Mira Costa High School. I then traveled a few miles north and graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2005. I continue studying through SBAOR and South Bay Brokers. My husband, Chad, and I live in the Manhattan Beach home (our first home purchase), and on weekends we rarely venture east of the 405.
Real estate is in my DNA. As a third generation realtor I’ve always had great interest and a deep appreciation in what a real estate agent can do for their clients. I’m privileged to have to have been able to learn from my grandfather, Tom Gillespie, and my father and mentor, Jack Gillespie, the co-owner/broker of South Bay Real Estate. Because of my life long interest in real estate I started working part time at South Bay Brokers while I was in high school, obtained my real estate license when I was a senior at LMU…and never looked back.
Long ago I learned that being a realtor is much more than just selling homes. I’m honored to be able to help my clients make their dreams a reality by finding the right home to fit their very personal needs. Growing up in the South Bay and experiencing life on the Santa Monica Bay I know and truly appreciate what a unique area this is to live. I take pride and great satisfaction in helping my clients find and live in a home of their own in a community I love. I work with a broad range of clients, from first time homebuyers to empty nesters looking to downsize. I know what’s at stake, what’s involved, and the long-term difference between the right or wrong decision. I give each of my clients the time they need as every transaction is different. I understand the unique circumstances involved in selling or purchasing a home and promise that you’ll always be able to talk directly with me and not a faceless assistant.
