Trevor Noah, the host of The Daily Show, has purchased a contemporary Bel-Air estate for $20.5 million. According to the L.A. Times, the five-bedroom home features more than 10,000 square feet of open living space on two levels showcased by a pivoting front door made of paneled wood, as well as polished glass, leathered marble, and limestone accents.
Among the highlights: a chandelier-topped dining area; double-island kitchen; wet bar with a 500-gallon aquarium; and a 2,200-square-foot master suite that enjoys city views via walls of glass and a wraparound balcony, along with amenities such as a wine cellar, movie theater, cigar room, cabana, and three-car auto gallery.
Pocket doors connect two living rooms to the backyard, which includes a 62-foot pool with a cantilevered edge. James Harris and Mauricio Umansky of The Agency served as the listing, while Jonah Wilson of Hilton & Hyland represented Noah.
