Live in Leonardo DiCaprio’s Spanish-style Silver Lake

Leonardo DiCaprio has listed a Spanish-style residence he owns in the hills above the Silver Lake Reservoir for $1.749 million. According to Variety, the four-bedroom home was built in the early 1930s and offers 3,560 square feet of living space on three levels. The house is nestled behind a high-walled and securely gated courtyard featuring a lily pad-topped koi pond and Spanish tile accents and opens via imported carved wood doors to a foyer that steps down to a spacious, wood-floored living room with a tile-surrounded fireplace, several sets of French doors and a soaring wood-beamed ceiling.

The formal dining room has elegant parquet wood flooring, while the kitchen is highlighted by white ceramic tiles bordered in dark blue and starburst-patterned tiles. Also included is a library/study; master suite boasting a sitting room with fireplace; and a semi-subterranean level that incorporates workshop and hobby areas, plus a bunker-like garage that accommodates three or more cars. Outdoors is a pool, as well as a loggia featuring a drop-down movie screen and projection TV system. Brett Lawyer of Hilton & Hyland serves as the listing agent.
