Beverly Hills Home of Howard Kaufman Has Sold

The Beverly Hills home of late rock band manager Howard Kaufman has sold for $5.985 million. According to the L.A. Times, that’s $10,000 less than the asking price in October, according to the Multiple Listing Service. Situated on about a half-acre parcel in Mulholland Estates, the 1999-built home features 6,755 square feet of living space offering four bedrooms, 3.75 bathrooms and a handful of formal living spaces.

Among the highlights: a two-story foyer with a sweeping staircase; center-island kitchen and breakfast nook with a wine refrigerator; movie theater; and master suite with a private, tile-lined balcony showcasing views of the canyon and backyard, where grass surrounds a patio, pool, spa and fire-pit lounge. Brooke Kaufman of Hilton & Hyland was the listing, with Branden Williams, also with Hilton & Hyland, representing the buyer.
